Here is "the" tornado that hit Auckland on March 10. "But meteorologists say the weather phenomenon seen in the skies over Auckland yesterday was a funnel cloud, not a tornado." Even so, it was quite spectacular, and as you can see from the 2nd photo, no one was panicking.
